Social media is an important way to share the EF Hult Prize experience, connect with your community, and amplify the impact of your local program. To help create a consistent and recognisable presence across our global network, we’ve put together guidelines for how to represent the brand online.
From choosing the right logo and visuals to naming your account and creating engaging content, these guidelines will help you communicate clearly while staying true to the EF Hult Prize identity.
Explore the guidance below to make sure your social media presence is consistent, recognisable, and connected to the wider EF Hult Prize community.
Naming conventions
To ensure clarity and consistency across our global network, please include your country name in your social media bio or page title i.e.:
Avoid: EF Hult Prize UWC
Do: EF Hult Prize University of the Western Cape
Using vague or abbreviated names can confuse followers and may result in your page being flagged or mistaken for an unofficial account.
Posting
You may publish content from your university account or your official Nationals account. If posting from a university channel, coordinate with your local Nationals account to align messaging and amplify reach through cross-posting or resharing.
Visuals & naming
Our social media visuals and naming guidelines help you share the EF Hult Prize story clearly and consistently. Use these resources and guidelines to create engaging content that reflects our brand and connects with our global community.
Profile picture
The official EF Hult Prize logo is reserved for official EF Hult Prize communications, including our global social media accounts and brand channels.
Campus programs should not use the official EF Hult Prize profile picture on its own—especially for profile photos or social media avatars. Instead, please make and use your campus program specific graphic, which reflects your team’s official role in the program.
Important: Using the EF Hult Prize official account profile picture may result in your account being mistaken for an impersonator account. To avoid confusion, always add your country or university name to your profile picture.

Banner photos
For platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook that require a cover image or banner, we encourage you to use action shots from your local event. Showcase your team, participants, or audience in a dynamic moment that reflects the energy of the EF Hult Prize experience in your region/country. Avoid using the EF Hult Prize logo or templated graphics as standalone banner images. Find template here.
