If you are in need of funding, we recommend being entrepreneurial by reaching out to your university for sponsorship. This is something that the majority of the competitors do at the EF Hult Prize! In the past, we’ve seen teams come up with very creative ways of fundraising to make it to our Nationals and Accelerator program. Teams have gotten funding from their university, organized bake sales and raffles, created crowdfunding campaigns, and reached out to local companies and investors.

Remember, you are not just representing your startup, but you are representing your university and your country as well, and you can find people who are willing to support you if you pitch it right! We recommend getting started on identifying people in your community who may be able to help because the sooner you start, the higher your chances are of getting the help you need.
